| Introduction | I have been gardening with California native plants since 1999. I started as a reluctant gardener, but am now hooked. My yard is fairly mature at this point. A garden is never finished, though, and I keep tinkering with the design. I've tried many of the thousands of California natives, with a wide range of outcomes. There are approximately 300 taxa in my modest little garden at the moment, with another 200 or so in pots. Its a challenge, its frustrating, its exciting, and there is always something more to learn and experience. |
