Introduction	Hello, and welcome to my blog! This blog is meant to showcase writing from my Creative Writing class. Writing has not always come easy to me; there’s no numbers, right answers, or formulas for calculating an interesting plot of a story. I have learned to be more descriptive and creative in my writing through the use of poetry. The skills that I have learned in this class include revising and editing, collaboration, and, unfortunately, some illustration. I hope to carry these skills over into my other classes. I enjoy writing poems and stories, and I have found that my life as an athlete has found its way into these writings. Writing allows me to release stress and emotion from sports, and find motivation at the same time. Writing poems allows for closer examination of the world around us. Stories give me the freedom to write whatever I want; I am in charge. Writing can be a powerful tool, as a link to someone that can’t be expressed in spoken words. I know that I will use the skills developed in this class for a wide variety of uses in many aspects of my life, and I am excited to see where it takes me. Enjoy.
