| Introduction | Hello…Welcome to my blog. Thanks for the visit, my name is John Piombo. I was born in the much maligned burrough of the Bronx in New York City of Italian and Spanish parents. My father originated from Campoligure, Genova and my mother from Havana, Cuba. I moved away from from New York at a young age and resettled in Miami, Fl. (which i lay claim as my hometown). I have also lived in Italy and throughout the USA. ( Miami, Orlando, San Francisco) I know reside in Traverse City, Michigan with my wife Sarah, my daughters Alessia and Giovanna and our 2 Dogs and Cat Please read more about me here. I have been blessed with a wonderful palate and showcase my skills as the Executive Chef of The Homestead, located within The Sleeping Bear Dunes in Glen Arbor, Michigan.
