| Introduction | It is not easy mixing one's Duties to the Queen with the requirements of relating one's glorious and dashing exploits to the sometimes civilized peoples of this Realm known as Tejas, but I am, after all, a Post Captain. My ship is old and well-used, but quick and reliable, and I shall continue to protect the Good Colonists of Tejas and the True Governor of this Sacred Realm, Willie, Lord Nelson, from the murderous Pirates and Savages that inhabit the waters of the Gulf and The River, until I am slain by Vicious Heathens or His Eminence remove me from Duty. (And if I snap up many profitable money-prizes in the process, then so be it.) |
