| Introduction | I am a nationally certified school psychologist currently working in an inner-city public school system. I got my BA in psychology and minor in education from Colgate University (upstate NY) and my PhD in school psychology from UNC-Chapel Hill. I love my job and being a "professional kiddie torturer" and could not imagine doing anything else. My job includes evaluating kiddos for suspected disabilities and/or learning/behavioral problems, consulting with teachers, developing individual/classroom/home interventions, and leading crisis intervention teams. My training also includes individual, family, and group counseling/therapy. Yes, I do a little bit of everything and love every minute of it! | Favorite movies | A lot of "chick flicks" or "rom-coms." As long as it is not too violent or too scary it works for me. |
| Favorite music | Very eclectic - from Air Supply to Eminem. Really anything but country! |
| Favorite books | Anything by Janet Evanovich, Augusten Burroughs, David Sedaris, Wally Lamb, and/or Jodi Picoult just to name a few. I love to read to escape! |
