| Introduction | Chet Lowe was born in the Bahamas and raised in a Christian household where faith was spoken and lived. His parents, Ira and Pam, led by example—serving others, trusting God in every season, and making people feel seen and cared for. From this environment, Chet developed an early sense of purpose. At only seven years old, he organized a Vacation Bible School in his parents’ garage. It was a modest beginning that set the direction for the rest of his life. Growing up with his siblings, Susan and Matthew, Chet learned what being part of a family rooted in service and love meant. Their home was steady, and the lessons he absorbed there shaped how he would eventually lead, parent, and minister to others. Those early years gave him a lasting foundation of faith and responsibility. Chet’s commitment to service deepened during his teenage years. At thirteen, he joined a mission trip to South Korea, where he helped build a church. He went to Liberia to work on a school construction project the following year. These early mission trips introduced him to the needs of communities outside his own and affirmed his desire to serve wherever he was called. |
