| Introduction | I will not be just another face in the crowd. My biggest fear is that someday I'll leave this earth and it'll be like I was never here, that I will have accomplished nothing worthwhile in my life. For years I would look at famous athletes, tv/movie stars, authors, etc. and think, "I'm just meant to sit back and watch those people achieve greatness." But then one day I realized, "Wait, this is my story. Shouldn't I be the main character? Why couldn't I do those things? Why shouldn't I be the star of my own life? I don't want to watch; I want to do!" And thus began my rejection of reality. |
