| Introduction | I am a retired computer engineer and a part time college student majoring in economics and political science. I entered the computer field in the late 70's and was able to spend the next 25 years growing with the industry. I ran my own company for 10 of those years. Tucson was home base, but I participated in meetings for IBM and the insurance industry in the development of standards for the newly developing Internet. Meetings took me to Washington,D.C. and other major cities in both the U.S. and Canada. My husband of 43 years and I retired to a ski resort in Colorado ten years ago. We have 2 great children, a son and a daughter, and a 6 year old grandson and 7 month old granddaughter who keep us all running. This blog is my way of gathering information for a book I am writing: "Liberty, Order and a Hot Dog at the Ballpark." I love baseball. "The one constant through the years has been baseball.
