| Introduction | Depois de Cacém, Dafundo, Murtal (Parede), cheguei a Paço de Arcos em 1954. Estudei no Liceu de Oeiras e no Liceu Francês. Ingressei na Força Aérea Portuguesa, Grupo de Detecção, Alerta e Conduta da Intersecção, em 1964, fugindo ao Ultramar. Derivei para a Direcção Geral de Aviação Civil em 1968, onde fiquei (nos sucedâneos, ANA e NAV) até 2009. Representei Portugal e a Comunidade Aeronáutica Europeia em incontáveis ocasiões. Como 'Expert' desta área participei e dirigi uma vintena de projectos em 4 continentes, alguns por períodos bem alargados. Terminei a carreira como conselheiro aeronáutico ao serviço da NAV, e de Portugal. Fui praticante de desportos vários - andebol, futebol, basquetebol, voleibol, badminton, ténis, ténis de mesa, atletismo (100, 200, 800, 1500, 5000 e 3000m obstáculos, salto em altura e em comprimento). Sou Escorpião Ocidental e Macaco Oriental. |
| Interests | Amigos e família, aquarofilia e mar, desportos, cidadania (Paço de Arcos sobretudo), aeronáutica, 'bridge', actividades ao ar livre, e, claro (last but not least), o Belenenses. |
| Favorite movies | Os filmes de referência - Casablanca, Música no Coração. Os 'heróicos' dos anos 50/60, e alguns cómicos, entretanto descontinuados. |

| Favorite books | Na juventude, as aventuras de Sandokan do Emílio Salgari, e, depois as aventuras do malandro/agente secreto, percursor do 007, de sua graça Hubert Bonisseur de La Bath. Depois veio o Jean Lartéguy, e, já na época mais consciente, Jorge Amado, José Saramago (realce para a 'Jangada de Pedra'), Mia Couto, e outros, esparsos. |
