| Introduction | My name is Brenda. I love Jesus, my husband, family, and friends. I guess you could say, I love life! After 30+ years of living in Omaha, Nebraska, we returned to our roots in Illinois where we built a house in the woods on land once owned by Country Guy's great grandfather. We added a barn, a chicken house complete with chickens, and fenced pasture for our 5 beautiful quarter horses. It gives us great pleasure to share it all with guests from all over the world who seem to enjoy the beauty, peace and solitude here as much as we do. I started this blog as a place to keep and share treasures I discover as I live, but in the process I've also found blogging to be good exercise for my mind, so it has been doubly beneficial. I hope you, too, will find some treasures here to keep, or share with others. Nothing would please me more. |
