| Introduction | I retired from academic administration in 2006. My last position was as provost at the SUNY Maritime College. I have a BA (Biology) from the U of Buffalo, MS and Ph. D from the Rosenstiel School (U of Miami), and an MBA from Florida Inst of Tech. Now I do non-academic things such as woodworking, guitar playing, kayaking, running, and bicycling. I am married to a phenomenal woman, have two fantastic sons, a great step-daughter, two incredible daughters-in-law, and two amazing grandsons. I'm a lucky guy. |
