| Introduction | The purpose for this blog is to document life on the Starr Ranch from 1990 to 2015. April 20, 1990 we drove over 2500 miles reaching our home in Cottonwood, California, ready for ranch life with chickens, horses, and organic gardening. I was really hoping for a nice quite country life. Within a couple hours I was met by two cars, four adults and several teenage boys. They were violent angry people telling us that we were trespassing on their land. I let them know they were mistaken and the property had been in my family for decades. One adult male said "Mom you told me this property went with mine, you lied to be". and they drove off. That was the beginning on what became my struggle for the next Twenty-Five Years. People I do not know have continued to harass me and slowly the pieces on the puzzle are coming together. This is the strangest neighborhood I have ever lived in and the most violent people who live near me enjoy wreaking havoc in my life. My closest neighbor I have seen once in fourteen years and he encourages trouble daily. I never knew these people, still don't. They've never given me a chance |
