| Introduction | I'm a generally happy, low-stress dude. My philosophy in life has been for the last 20 years: "Enjoy Life. If you have a problem there are two ways to approach it: If you can do something about it, do it. If you cannot do anything about it, do nothing now and don't worry about it, but wait and consider the possibilities until you can do something about it." |
| Interests | Computers (building, repairing, etc), origami, glass etching, making linked-ring jewelry, driving around, going out for an occasional movie. |
| Favorite movies | Lord of the Rings (the whole trilogy), Transformers (1986 & 2007), several others... can't think of any more right now. |
| Favorite music | Varies daily. As I usually listen to audiobooks, the rare times I do opt for music usually find me with my headphones on and some heavy metal echoing through my skull. |
| Favorite books | Isaac Asimov's Foundation series, Piers Anthomy's Xanth fantasy novels, Patrick F McManus's humorous collections about his childhood adventures, and P G Wodehouse's Geeves & Wooster series. |
What's the most amount of sand you've ever had in your swimming trunks?
Probably three or four pounds. We were in Hawaii for a family reunion in 1986 (or was it '84?) and went to a sandy beach on the northern shore of Oahu. The waves were bigger than any I've ever tried swimming in and I got hit with one and dragged up the beach. I really had to hold on to my swimming trunks to keep them up before I rinsed out most of the sand.
