| Introduction | Currently employed by Mekon Ltd as an Electronic Documentation Consultant in their Aerospace and Defence department. Martyn has been involved in Technical Publication work for 40 years, a lot of this as an Electronic Technical Author. Involved in early SGML & innovative IETP related work for 15 years. Has been actively involved in S1000D for many years including draft work on the Crew Module. Martyn has been involved in several projects including a networked touch screen based maintenance handbook system, naval legacy conversion into S1000D, and productivity aids for electronic publication work. Martyn's philosophy over the years has been the sharing of knowledge and skills with others to help them progress in their career. Over recent years Martyn has been achieving this by sharing his knowledge of SGML and S1000D by means of training courses both with his previous employer and Mekon. Creating and running this Blog is part of that philosophy of sharing knowledge. |
