| Introduction | Hi there! I was born in Brazil and have lived almost my whole life in Sao Paulo, the biggest and most chaotic city of my country. I studied Chemical Engineering at University of São Paulo (USP) and received my diploma in 2005. I worked almost 5 years before deciding to come abroad and study environmental sciences, my great passion. I arrived in Europe in 2010 and last year, 2012, I received my Master of Science diploma in "Project Management for Environmental and Energy Engineering", an Eramus Mundus master program. During these years I had the opportunity to experience numerous initiatives that Europe is taking in order to cope with more restrict environmental policies and targets.
