| Introduction | I stand for Smaller Government, Lower Taxes and More Freedoms. I am a long-term resident of Decatur. I am a charter member of Freedom Force Atlanta. I was a Democrat because of their social tolerance, but started seeing that fiscal responsibility was missing. When my successful business started failing due to the general economy, I read "The Creature from Jekyll Island - a Second Look at the Federal Reserve". That book turned the lights on in the dark room of my mind reserved for economics and politics. I then became an active member of the Libertarian Party of Dekalb County, ran against Jimmy Carter's grandson in a special election for a state senate seat, and was elected to be the Vice Chair of LP DeKalb. The Libertarian Party offers the best of both parties. I am 16 months older than Barry O. I am happily married to the lovely opera singer, Perri Montané. We have a zany long-haired miniature Dachshund named Infiniti ('cause he's a fancy "Datsun"), but we call him Findi for short. |
