Location Pahala, Hawai'i, United States
Introduction Ka'u Coffee Mill carries on a tradition of agriculture on Wood Valley Road above the village of Pahala. Ka'u Coffee is grown, hand-picked and milled on the slopes of Mauna Loa, the largest Volcano on Earth, rising 13,679 feet above the Pacific Ocean. This renowned Ka'u Coffee region lies on the edge of Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park and is also famous for macadamia orchards, ranches and the longest uninhabited coastline in Hawai'i. Ka'u Coffee wins international tasting awards and has gained a reputation as some of the most carefully cultivated, harvested, milled, and roasted coffee on the planet. Ka'u Coffee is grown in the most ancient of volcanic soils where rains nourish coffee trees almost every afternoon following a morning of Hawaiian sunshine. We welcome everyone to visit Ka'u Coffee Mill, to taste the Ka'u Coffee, explore the farm, and see the mill and roaster. Enjoy the mural and wildlife art of renowned artist Kathleen Kam who has painted coffee cherries, our state bird - the nene, the life of the valley, and the volcano for your enjoyment.
