| Introduction | My name is Melissa Janjic. I was born on August 8th, 1987. I am twenty years old. I have an older sister who is twenty three years old. We were born in Lima, Peru. I have been living in the United States for fifteen years. I do not have much memory of my country since I was only five years old when my family moved to this country. I love living in New York but I would also like to visit other states and countries. I am currently a student at LaGuardia Community College where I am studying to get my Associate Science degree. Upon graduation I am planning on transferring into a four-year university. I decided to pursue a college education at LaGuardia College because of lack of money. Lack of money has been a hindrance in my decisions about where I go to achieve my goals. I always do pretty well in all of my classes. I mostly tend to enjoy my science classes more than any other class. I expect to graduate this year and be moving on to get my bachelor degree. Now with money not being too much of an obstacle I can hopefully get to choose and apply to better schools that will help me in my quest to becoming a surgeon. |
