Introduction This dance with food as nourishment for Body and Soul began when I was a child and my Sicilian Grandparents would turn their Kitchen into a meeting place of Celebration! Every Sunday Nonna would get up so early to start her Tomato Sauce. Slowly as the day progressed my Aunts, Uncles and Cousins would arrive. The room would get louder and louder with jokes, music, dancing and laughter. You could feel the energy rising, nourishing us even before we began the feast. As we sat down to eat and all was quiet (for maybe a minute), we prayed over our food. Gave thanks for all or little we had and shared in this Celebration which began on an Island off the Southern tip of Italy so long ago. I am a Graduate of the Kushi Institute of Macrobiotics, where I also worked as a Head Chef and Teacher. I have completed a "Living on Live Foods" Raw Chef and Educator Certification program and have enjoyed studying Ayurveda via Workshops. I am a Kripalu Certified Danskinetics Instructor and Yoga enthusiast with an affinity for Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. I include Chanting, Sound and Meditation as part of my Daily Practice. And I love sharing my knowledge with others.
