| Introduction | I want to live and am called to live in peace (1 Corinthians 7:15). I am divorced as a matter of survival for myself and my children. As a result, I am persecuted by some churches and loved by my new church. It is in my heart to present an understanding heart for the multitudes of other women like me. They are amazed at having survived and then find the weight of isolation and condemnation placed on their shoulders by so-called Christian leaders. May God forgive such men and may the church become a haven for the oppressed rather than the oppressor. |
