| Introduction | Anglers come from all walks of life. I'm a liberally leaning bass fisherman. My mission is to provide an atmosphere free of the politics of hate and paranoia, to inspire the online angler community to turn down the dial on right wing fringe rhetoric, and urge them to frown on behavior which will do more harm than good to our sport. My blog is all fishing and no politics. Many other fishing sites provide a haven for the unbalanced conservative voice. They are seldom questioned. Anyone of the liberal persuasion is not welcome in that crowd. It's a little more substantial than just a difference of opinion. I refuse to support those sites until things change. When we open our mouths, we represent all anglers. On behalf of all of us, please remember that if the public learns how much hate is wrapped up in your politics, we may as well pack up our gear and head home. Welcome to a place without the conservative rants. Remember, we'd rather be fishing. |
