| Favorite movies | The best movie I've seen in a while...discounting the Harry Potter films and Lord of the Rings trilogy...is Memoirs of a Geisha. I'm still blown away by the fantastic play of light and color every time I see the pre-mooncake-auction dance scene. The whole build-up to the scene, then the photography, the action and the underlying story line make it a memorable scene. |
| Favorite music | Like so many other Boomers, my radio is stuck on stations featuring 60s, 70s and 80s music. The other buttons are set on NPR or Baroque and light classical stations. When I have the time, I like to turn up the volume on my headphones and listen to Verdi's imagination play out on my own mental stage. |
