Introduction	INSEAD’s mission is to promote a non-dogmatic learning environment that brings together people, cultures and ideas from around the world. In 2007, the INSEAD Social Innovation Centre was founded with the mission to coordinate, inspire and develop cross-disciplinary research and engagement in the area of Social Innovation. While some focus on challenges and opportunities for mainstream business, others concentrate on the application of business concepts for tackling policy issues, and global concerns such as climate change and poverty.
