| Introduction | I'm a mechanical engineer with a passion for anything automotive. Autocrossing, rally racing, road racing, drag racing, off roading - really anything driving and I'm into it. I set out to build this car after finishing a V8 powered Mazda RX7 and seeing cars like the Ariel Atom and KTM X-bow. Beautiful cars, they capitalize on high power to weight ratios with ultra light frames and bodies, negating the need for engines with excessive horsepower. I decided to build something along those lines, but to make it front engined, and to use excessive horsepower anyhow with a lightweight aluminum V8 instead. |
