| Introduction | This studio project involves an interdisciplinary design collaboration between architecture students and interior design students at the College of Architecture in Norman, the Urban Design Studio in Tulsa, the Architecture for Health Design Studio at Texas A&M, the clinical program development at the OU Wayman Tisdale Specialty Center, School of Community Medicine and the Tulsa Economic Development Corporation. Students will work in groups of 4 (2 architect students and 2 interior design students). The teams will be working on alternative designs for the Tisdale Clinic, its future expansion and the rehabilitation of the Northland Shopping Center. |
| Interests | Our interest is to help impact the northern Tulsa area, by designing a heath clinic to be built at 36th Street North and Hartford. It will focus primarily on specialty care, including the treatment of cancer, diabetes and heart disease. This blog is a journal of four students and their journey through the design process of this building. |
