| Introduction | I'm Kim Hill, designer and owner of CG Essentials. I'm a professional photographer turned stay-at-home-mom of two amazing boys. I'm 43 years old and married to my soul mate of 20 years. We live in New York State where we have a little over 4 acres of beautiful land. I first heard about digi scrapping through a moms group I belonged to and made my first layout in November 2004. At that time, I didn't know there were places to purchase pre-made elements, so I taught myself PhotoShop and learned to make them myself. After many long nights of banging my head against the wall, I finally figured it out and have been creating ever since. My entreprenurial husband gave me the push to start selling my creations and I opened my digi store on January 6, 2005. In the winter of 2006, I decided to switch over from film to digital photography. I also switched from doing location work to studio work. Since I'm self-taught, I'm taking things slowly but am anxious to eventually get back to doing photography full-time. So that's me!! Thanks for taking a moment to stop by. |
