| Introduction | Welcome to my Shoebox Stories. Shoebox Stories are those memories you create from all that is around you, and the special things you pull out of your shoebox. After my second divorce, I was left with just enough old cd's to fit into one shoebox. I ignored the cd's, until one day, while driving around Austin to attend photo shoots for my first photography class, I began listening to one of those old cd's. The cd was 'Homeland' by Tish Hinojosa, and a newfound love of something old that was new was discovered. I also discovered many new things about myself that weekend, and life will never be the same. So, what is your story? |
| Interests | After working for 2 fortune 500 corporations, as well as other businesses, for over 15 years, I rediscovered myself as a teacher! This is my second career, my first was as a systems analyst in the business industry for 18 years. I have a BS in Computer Science from Texas A&M University. I have also completed my Masters in Secondary Education from UofH. I enjoy creating an innate curiosity for learning within my students. I have 2 children and I believe in living a healthy lifestyle. In my spare time, I like to visit with friends, read, swim, take long walks, go to the beach and listed to good music! |
