| Introduction | Me I am an old time farmer who has decided to make a living at it. I just obtained my homestead kitchen license so now I am selling baked goods at farmers markets. I want to give freelance writing a shot as well so we will see what the future will bring. I think my four older children think I am crazy, but my nine year old loves it.We are as back to nature as you can get within reason no outhouse or washing clothes in the river as of yet anyway. She thinks it means never having to take a shower!! I love the peace and quiet. Now I see why Tasha Tudor insisted on living as she did. It couldn't have been anymore perfect. And I hope I get to accomplish some of my dream. |
| Interests | My interests are vast but my favorites are creating great to not so great gardens, quilting or taking care of my chickens. I love it all. And I paint but haven't done it for quite awhile .I am hoping to get back to it this winter and maybe get something sold. |
| Favorite Movies | My favorite movies: anything good Spencer's Mountain, Mr. Hobbs Takes a Vacation, and of coarse Gone With the Wind.Our all time number one movie however is On Golden Pond. My daughter thinks Billy will be going by in the boat at any minute!! |
| Favorite Music | Everything for music depends on the mood sometimes we listen to classic christmas carols in August. But we are the biggest Dan Zanes followers. We love classical type music example Miss Potter movie music and the baby's favorite of the moment is from the movie Becoming Jane, which I do think she has great taste the music is wonderful. |
| Favorite Books | Books are the ultimate for reading they are great, but to learn they are wonderful. My favorite author is Alice Hoffman with James Lee Burke right behind. But however I will stop everything to read or look at anything by Tasha Tudor or Beatrix Potter |
