| Introduction | My name is Melanie Huynh. I am 18 years old and a senior at Norton High. I have chosen to take a class this year called "Senior Project." Basically, students who choose to take the class are allowed to pick a topic of their choice and do a "project" on it. When filling out my course selection sheet last year, I had not planned on taking this class but after being showed a film on "Invisible Children" I knew I wanted to become more educated on what was occuring in Uganda and the "Invisible Children" organization itself. I met with the teacher, who also happens to be the principal at NHS, Mr. Dewar, and presented my idea of fundraising for "Invisible Children". He warned me that it would be difficult and time consuming, but I was willing to take on the challenge. I will be posting fundraisers and some of my ideas I have on this blog.
