| Introduction | I have been researching my family history for 25 years. I have been able to trace my paternal line back to the mid 1500's in England and into early Colonial New England in the United States. My maternal line has been a bit more challenging however. But genealogical research is like a jigsaw puzzle, when one piece doesn't fit, you look for a different piece that does!! My sewing/quilting journey began at an early age when my grandmother taught me how to sew. I started quilting about 40 years ago. I enjoy the history behind quilts and who made them. Quilts and family history tie us together to our past. |
