Introduction I am known by many names and titles - wise man, wild man, rebel, counsellor, pastor, professor, Dr. Love, Dr. Meaning and Dr. Death. I am all things to all people that I may make a difference in their lives. Basically, I am a stranger and an excile searching for a promised land, where we all can call home. Blessed with a wonderul family. Married to my better half Lilian with two sons Austin, a lawyer in Toronto and Wesley, a biophysicist at Harvard. After receiving my Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Toronto, I have taught in several universities, including University of Texas at Autsin, York University, Trent University, University of Toronto, and Trinity Western University. At present, I am Professor and Chair at Tyndale University College, Toronto (www.Tyndale.ca). I am a certified Clinical Psychologist in Ontario. I have given workshops related to Meaning-Centered Counselling, Positive Psychology and Death Acceptance internationally. My latest publications include Existential and Spiritual Issues in Death Attitudes (2007) and The Positive Psychology of Meaning and Spirituality (2007).
