| Introduction | Why the title? Some of you may know the old chorus: "I love you, Lord, and I lift my voice to worship you. Oh my soul, rejoice. Take joy my King in what you hear. Let it be a sweet, sweet sound in your ear." As a pre-teen and teenager, this was my favorite song. I often sang it to center my focus on God before beginning my personal devotions. It became a calling from God and my promise to Him that, no matter where He led me in life, I would always choose to worship Him and strive to please Him. And this is my dedication of this blog as well. |
