Introduction	I consider myself a Christian in the broadest sense of the term, but no longer attend Church. I've found myself disaffected by the modern use of religion to find moral certainty -- which in turn is used to persecute those with whom they disapprove. I have two sons who have both been diagnosed in the autism spectrum.

Simple. I wouldn't avoid it. I'd laugh until I turned blue in the face and fell, well, possibly onto the poop deck.
