| Introduction | (The picture size and the black and white makes it tricky to see, but this is a picture of me and my Basset hound cuddled up on the couch. Neither of us could be happier.) I live in Hawaii, I don't have to work, I have a wonderful husband, and, overall, life is good. I want to try to focus on the good things, even the little things, especially the little things. It's easy to become complacent, overwhelmed, cynical, and unappreciative in the world we live in, even when we're living the good life. My goal here is to focus on the good, celebrate the little things in life that often get overlooked or forgotten. I'll try not to be too Polly Anna about this, which shouldn't be hard because, after all, I do still have a cynical streak!
