| Introduction | I was first introduced to the Montessori method in 1971 when I was a little girl, I attended a Montessori class until I was six years old! For the past 12 years I have worked with children in a variety of settings, and am definitely the most comfortable in a Montessori environment. I love children and a passion for early childhood education, I’ve been deeply involved in childcare for the past 12 years - brightening the lives of my own children and many others. I love working with children and watching their joy as they discover and learn new things. The children really light up my day, and it makes me feel proud to know I have played a part in their development - that's hugely rewarding. Year after year, I continue to enjoy all of the children in my class, their work, their individual expression, the way they grow and change (or not change), and the way they feel safe and happy with me. The children make the work I do easy and fun! I speak 4 languages, Portuguese, English, Chinese and French! I am also an Art teacher. When I’m not at school, I spend time with my husband and my three boys. |
