| Introduction | Retired Veteran. This is my second Blog created for a Government Class. The first one was over a year ago. Had I known, I would be down this road again, I would have definitely kept it up. I had an opportunity to meet the President and speak with members of the DNC. I learned some interesting things from them but my experiences are still limited to voting and financial support. I'm influenced by those in politics who have a proven record of honesty. I am taking this class because it basically fulfills a requirement but more importantly because Texas is my new home, I need to know more. I have lived here about six years and I look forward to learning what makes Texas politics and government so unique. I did not do well on the Texas quizzes, I need help. We have to educate ourselves and piece it all together to come to informed conclusions. |
