| Favorite Movies | I like movies that are provocative and can elicite strong emotions in the viewer. My favorite genre includes mystery/thriller and horror but not the slasher movies or those that rely on blood and gore factor to make the point. Just as I said that, if you like the EIIIUUUUU factor, any Rob Zombie movie like "The House of 1000 Corpses", "The Devil's Rejects" and R.Z's version of "Halloween" are all really great depictions of a sick mind at work! "From Dusk till Dawn" is a good one, any Quentin Tarantino movie. "Straightjacket" and any of the Abbot and Costello monster flicks. The last movie that made me cry was "The house of sand and fog"...and after I saw the movie I read the book, and couldn't finish it because I knew how it turned out. After talking with a friend of mine today, I also realize that "Das Boot" is also one of my top 10 movies. |
