| Introduction | I began blogging in March of 2009 and so much life has happened since then. Why a blog? Writing has always offered me a sense of clarity and peace. I journaled throughout my entire childhood and frankly, I was running out of room for journals and it was heart breaking to let them go, but when you move 8 times in 10 years there are somethings you just cannot take with you. So, I began blogging. Flash forward almost 15 years later and I needed a clean slate for my writing. So, I created The Inherent Dragonfly a blog of my personal experiences and journey of discovering hope, change and love within myself. I have always told my now grown children; we never stop learning until we die. That holds true for all of us. I am not the girl I was at 13, the young lady I was at 17 or the young wife and mother I was at 22. The me I was then and the experiences I had then and the years beyond, are what shaped me to be who I am today. Why would I think I think that would ever change? I learn more about myself every day, most I like, some I do not, and I try to change. But I am who God and my experiences created me to be. And it is good. |
