| Introduction | Sushi Suzukis. Spoonin with the Suzukis. Sukiyaki Suzukis. We spent some time thinking through the name of this blog; but ultimately, what will really matter in the future is the content of our blog—for lack of a better analogy, the meat and potatoes of the blog. We finally decided to keep it simple and say exactly what this blog is about: our love of food. Everything in our lives comes back to food. The saying “work to live or live to work” comes to mind in starting this blog. Some people eat to live, while others (i.e. Kyle and I) live to eat. We used to think we were normal: that everyone lived for a great meal at a newly discovered restaurant, or an annual birthday party where we enjoy some of our favorite childhood dishes; that everyone takes just as many photos of the food they are eating on vacation as the sites they see and the sunsets they watch. I guess that is why we are meant to be together. One day we will be a fat old couple, cooking in our kitchen with nothing but high cholesterol and some facebook photos of our favorite eats. But that is what makes us happy. So please enjoy our blog and our hope is that you will discover a new passion for the food you eat. |
