| Introduction | My name is Ashley Herskowitz and I am here to serve as your local what not to wear guide. I am from the Shore area of New Jersey-- please don't pass judgement for MTV's mistake and warped perception of it. When I was 15 I began taking classes at the Fashion Institute of technology for undergraduate credits. These courses made me dive head first into this industry, and it's been no turning back ever since. I have wanted to start this for a long time, due to the way some people dress here at the University of Rhode Island. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not the Anna Wintour of this school, but I think we can all find a common ground in saying some people just shouldn’t wear certain things. Everyone should be dressing appropriate to their size, so for those of us who are a size 6, we shouldn’t be trying to wear our roommates size 2 jeans. Less isn’t always more too. The less clothing you wear the more messages you send out about yourself. This blog isn’t designed to hurt feelings, it is a completely anonymous way to show you how not to dress.
