| Introduction | I'm a typical 20 something college graduate residing in small town Louisiana. I drive a big SUV that sucks gas like a frat boy downs beer at a kegger but I have no kids sitting in the backseat. I do however, have 3 "furkids" that pretty much equal 3 toddlers running around 24/7. I'm a college graduate pursuing a Teaching Certificate. I have a B.S. in Criminal Justice. I am majoring in Early Childhood and will hopefully be teaching Kindergarten next year. My first job post college was at a non-profit dealing with children in state custody as well as sexually and extremely physically abused children. It didn't pay very well so I returned to the service industy while continuing school. After dealing with things at the non-profit, I knew I was meant to work with kids but in a different capacity. I felt God had called me to teach, so I looked up the info and enrolled the next semester. My accent is Southern and I've got the keeping housework done part down but I'm still learning how to cook a proper meal. |
