Introduction | Multi-ethnic,English-Celtic, native American (Cherokee), Ashkenazim (possibly). Born in Oklahoma. My father was a WW II paratrooper-jumped into Normandy - survived. I was: raised in a military family; saved from drowning by Loch Johnson, later a prominent academic specializing in national intelligence studies. My step-father served with Elvis-I never met Elvis. I was a moderately gifted athlete-football and sprints. I have attended the University of Oklahoma. I am sports fan-especially OU football. In the early 1960s I was a Goldwater conservative. In the 1970s I joined the libertarian movement and played various roles in founding the national Libertarian Party and the LP in Oklahoma. I worked for Mickey Edwards, a journalist before his election to Congress from Oklahoma's 5th District, on his first campaign staff. I maintain a continued respect for the efforts and contact with both my lifeguard, Loch and former mentor, Mickey. I have been married more than once and I have a son, Branden, who is now my mentor in some ways. I have written on numerous issues and continue to focus on electoral reform , especially of the U.S. House. I have been a Congressional candidate. |

You've got to make contact with the alien leader. How will you tell when the conversation is finished?
When he stops or I decide I've heard enough.
