| Introduction | Country Boy in the City... So yeah I grew up in a little town with no stop lights and where my mom worked (still works) in the only Beauty Shop in town. I worked for farmers (Almonds, Peaches, Apricots) and did construction as a kid really. I left Hughson when the population was 2,754 and our PO Box Combination was E 1/2 -- G 1/2 -- H. If you don't get that it is really old school. We (my parents) have a PO Box Key now in the new Post Office. It is the kind of town where the UPS driver takes our "home" packages to my mom's shop because he knows she is there and not home. I ran away so to speak after Cal Poly gave me the taste of culture... Now I am in SF and I love this city, that is still close to my country roots... |
