Introduction	Sure, I'd love to be hiking through a pine forest right now. But reading about one can be thrilling, too. As a writer myself, I want to create books that celebrate and help protect the wild places that I love. And I want to spread the word about all of the inspiring nature books out there and find others interested in taking a literary approach to environmental conservation.
