| Introduction | Jean Ferris, Reiki Master, hold a BS in Physical Education from Sul Ross State University. She earned a certificate in physical therapy at the Army Medical Field Service School in 1966. During the Vietnam War, she gained extensive experience treating patients with extreme trauma from burns, orthopedic, and neurological conditions. After leaving the Armed Services, she continued working for 20 years as a physical therapist in the private sector, specializing in Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. She received 1st and 2nd Degree Reiki in 1985 in Honolulu, Hawaii and Master Degree in 1990 on the Big Island of Hawaii by Helen J. Haberly. Helen was trained 1st and 2nd Degree by Hawayo Takata and Master Degree by Phyllis Furumoto. Jean now has Reiki practices in Honolulu, El Paso, San Diego, Denver and Puyallup. She teaches full time and travels extensively in the Western states and Hawaii.
