| Introduction | I was born and grew up in Iowa. I'm the youngest of 4 girls, raised on the farm my father built, and where he lived until he died in 2015. Mama then sold the farm and moved to Maine to live with one of my sisters. Mama died in 2020. We lost our youngest to suicide April 24, 2021, and that is what has returned me to blogging. I considered changing the name of the blog to Learning to Walk with Grief, but I think Shadowfeet is still a good title. |
