| Introduction | Letters to Lauren was inspired by my 13 year old sister, Lauren. After spending a little over a year in the foster care system, Lauren spent a lot of time away from her family. Since I started this blog, she is a year older and finally back at home where she belongs. Although I now get to spend a lot of time with her, I am continuing these letters anyway in hope that I can inspire her and other young people to do their best as they grow up in this tough world. |
