| Introduction | I am a mom, professor, runner, volunteer. An American Studies scholar, I teach History/PoliticalScience, French and Education at Greenville College, a premier Christian, liberal arts college in southwestern Illinois. My husband, Dave, and I have two teenagers (Lindsey and Ashley) and one double digit (David, 12). Track and field is the major sport in our family. While my children are competitive, I distance run for fun and to stay in shape. Besides our life in Greenville, I also cherish a close relationship with friends in our neighboring community of East St. Louis where I volunteer at the Jackie Joyner-Kersee Center. |
