Introduction	Trying to save money has reconnected me to my love of cooking, reminding me that a home cooked meal is not only thrifty but also fulfilling. I also bake occasionally but I have a love-hate relationship with baking... or any kind of measured science... so I cook more than I bake. I don't have a complete set of cooking and baking tools and I usually don't have the right ingredients either so I improvise and have creatively whipped up some good eats with what is available. Cooking is all about creating and being creative so I hope anyone reading this blog will pick up some ideas on what their next dish will be.
