| Introduction | Hi, I'm Kaye. In 2010 is was diagnosed with depression. I was so ill at the time that I couldn't tie my own shoe laces. It was a very dark, scary and lonely time for me. I felt like my life was over, like I didn't know who I was anymore. It took me a while and a lot of help and support to get me functioning as a human being again. I did this with therapy and I rediscovered my passion and love of creativity. I learned to see the world again and this time in colour and I learned to be part of it again too. It was in a different way from before though. My life had changed and so to did my career and this helped me to begin to manage my illness. A Creative Journey through is me being creative processing life and living each day as it comes. I'm not cured there is no cure! But, I am, trying to manage and be the one in charge of my life. |
